Sales Manager | Anthony Murray

Like many of us, Anthony started his career in insurance unintentionally. After leaving college, what was a meant as a stopgap role at an insurance call centre, ended up as a five year stint.

This somewhat whetted his appetite for the industry so he pursued a more challenging role with BIBU as a trainee underwriter. After progressing through various underwriting disciplines and then managing an underwriting team he eventually moved on to a business development role and then further progressed to Sales Manager.

During his 20 plus years at BIBU he covered the whole of the UK and probably visited every broker who deals in agriculture.

To wind down from insurance he spends some time on the riverbank chasing a whopper or if the sun shines you might find him on the golf course. Beware though, as he does have what is known as a ‘flexible handicap’.

Robert Dale | Underwriting Manager

Robert manages our underwriting strategy, rating and criteria. He supports insurer and partner relationships using over 15 years experience in agricultural underwriting.

Robert has an in-depth understanding of both farm and motor insurance requirements from a broad spectrum of farm risks, ranging from smallholdings, diversified farms, agricultural contractors, country estates - and more!

His experience underwriting a diverse range of agricultural sectors helps him ensure that we are well placed to understand and meet the insurance needs of a wide variety of policyholders.

Outside of work Robert enjoys his own smallholding where he keeps horses and works gundogs.

Joanne Lamont, Cert CII | Senior Underwriter

Joanne started her career at AXA, and then joined BIBU as a farm underwriter where she continued to develop her expertise for some 20 years before joining the AGRi team. Throughout this period she has developed some excellent broker relations and has a first class understanding of the more complex farming and estate risks.

During her spare time Joanne enjoys spending time with her family and walking and she is also partial to the odd music concert, especially Ocean Colour Scene, having been to see them over 20 times.
